Jaclyn Knoth
About Me:
I live in my childhood town, Crystal Lake, with my husband, married for 10 years, kids Max (9) and Kendall (3). We have a mini Goldendoodle, Rocky (1.5)
COACHING PHILOSOPHY:
My coaching philosophy is building attitude, teamwork, and work ethic. We’re creating a strong foundation. With those values in place, skills naturally follow, fostering respect for the game, themselves, and their team. It’s a powerful approach, that truly unites players on and off the court.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
I played from 7th grade all through college. Was a 4 year starting Libero at a DII school, U of Minnesota-Crookston. I’ve been coaching for 10+ years. I have also reffed the occasional recreational league, and a few local middle schools.
COACHING HISTORY:
I have coached with Mission since their founding and before that coached at Club Fusion Crystal Lake.
I may not have trophies or medals, but I’ve seen players come back year after year, always ending a season better than day 1. The respect and amazing relationships with parents who are just as invested in their kids success. As a coach, I want to lead by example, show my emotions for the love of the game. At the end of the day, I coach players to become better humans, life skills on and off the court, that’s my goal!
Coaching Specialty:
Defense & passing. I have extremely high expectations for perfecting basic skills. Once a Libero, always a Libero
